Plot details for ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ reportedly leaked online

Several websites claim to have insider information regarding the plot of upcoming 'Star Wars' film.

Despite Lucasfilm’s past history of successfully keeping the details of their Star Wars movies top secret during filming, websites are somehow already leaking plot details for Star Wars: Episode VII. Disney has yet to confirm or deny that the details being leaked across the internet are legitimate.

According to badassdigest.com, the highly-anticipated upcoming Star Wars film takes place 30 years after the events of Return of the Jedi. The film’s lead characters, portrayed by Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, find the severed hand and lightsaber which were separated from Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker by Darth Vader in The Empire Strikes Back, and aim to return it to its rightful owner. During their journey, the two protagonists meet Han Solo and Chewbacca, who “aren’t flying around in the Millennium Falcon anymore” but pilot another ship instead.

That final piece of detail may prove the plot leak to be false, as director J.J. Abrams has confirmed that the Millennium Falcon will be in the film. He tweeted a photo of the Dejarik chess table from the Falcon on Jun. 4, with a note which jokingly stated, “I wish people would stop leaking photos from Episode VII. And making ridiculous claims that the Millennium Falcon is in the movie.”

Harrison Ford also reportedly broke his leg on the set of the film after it was crushed by the Millennium Falcon’s door.

Making the potential plot detail leak even more confusing, website firstshowing.net also claims to have inside information about the plot and has stated that leaks by badassdigest.com are in line with what they’ve heard from their sources.
