Big news, Hillary fans – Comedy Central announced today that Hillary Clinton will be a guest on the popular The Daily Show with Jon Stewart this week. Her episode is set to air Tuesday, July 15 at 11:00 p.m. on Comedy Central. The interview will mark Clinton’s first appearance on the show since 2008.

In all likelihood, Clinton intentionally scheduled the appearance to coincide with the release of her memoir, Hard Choices. She first appeared on the program in 2003, then as a New York senator. She also appeared in 2008 when campaigning against then-senator Barack Obama in the Democratic primary race.

Despite its name, the book is not about Clinton’s marriage to former president Bill Clinton, and the turmoil that resulted from his sexual scandals. Instead, Hard Choices covers her time with the State Department as Secretary of State from 2009-2013.

Clinton is said to be considering a bid for the presidency in 2016, though nothing has been confirmed. Despite great scrutiny, her memoir does not appear to offer any hints as to whether or not that will actually happen.
