Reality star Jenni Farley, also known as JWoww, gave birth on Sunday to a baby girl. This is the first child for the 28-year-old and her fiancé Roger Mathews, who reside in New Jersey. The baby was named Meilani Alexandra Mathews and weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces. Farley is best known as a member of the reality show Jersey Shore, which showcases the wild, partying antics of a group of 20-something Italian-Americans. Prior to the reality show, Farley owned her own graphic design business, Jenni Farley Designs, Inc.

Jersey Shore is a reality television show that ran on MTV from 2009-2012. Though the series received criticism from Italian Americans, it was a success for the network. Farley and Nicole Polizzi, known as Snooki, had a spinoff show titled Snooki & JWow. Polizzi has been engaged to Jionni LaValle since 2012, and in 2013, gave birth to the couple’s first child. She is pregnant again. Farley and Mathews were engaged in September of 2012. In 2013, they announced on Twitter that she was pregnant. Another cast member Paul DelVecchio, known on the show as Pauly D, also has a child.

Farley and Mathews announced to fans that they are thrilled to have a healthy baby girl. The reality star’s rep said, “Meilani and her parents are doing great and are happy and healthy. Meilani is already looking to trade her baby bottle for barbells.” It was a difficult pregnancy for Farley. She wrote on her blog about the sickness she experienced during the first months. Fortunately, she had support from her fiancé and Polizzi, making the experience smoother. The other Jersey Shore cast members along with MTV are excited for the couple’s new edition. The new mom is doing well and excited to share in parenting and fun with her fiancé and Polizzi.
