A picture of Spielberg posing next to a "Jurassic Park" dinosaur has fooled many people into believing the Triceratops is real.
Calm down everyone, Triceratops went extinct millions of years ago not 21 years ago. And, despite what you’ve seen on the Internet, acclaimed film director Steven Spielberg was not responsible for the dinosaur’s extinction.
With the Kendall Jones controversy still fresh in the minds of many irate Internet users, prankster Jay Branscomb posted a picture of Spielberg posing with a fake Triceratops on the set of 1993’s Jurassic Park.
Branscomb pretended that the extinct dinosaur was actually real and ripped Spielberg for his cruelty. “Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered,” the comedian wrote. “Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man.”
Amazingly, the post received more than 6,000 comments, including comments from some who weren’t in on the joke. “Steven Spielberg has absolutely no respect for animals. Posing in front of this poor dead animal like that. Barbaric,” one user wrote. Another user added, “One day we realize that we are killing all animals on this planet and we need them to survive. But when we realize it will be too late.”
