Robert Downey Jr. and his wife, Susan, are expecting their first daughter, the actor announced via Facebook on Wednesday.

“Um. I don’t know if it’s a ‘man’s world,’ but I’m certain women run it. Susan and I are therefore delighted to announce we are expecting a baby,” Downey Jr. wrote via the social media network.

The Iron Man actor also made the announcement on Twitter, tweeting, “Yo. Susan. Me. Baby. Girl. November. Scorpio?”

The baby girl will eventually join the couple’s 2-year-old son, Exton. After Exton was born, Downey Jr. told Esquire that he would rather being a “very real human being” to his son not a hero, because “hero, to me, is not applicable to the human experience.”

This is an excellent time for some good news in Robert’s life, as his son from his first marriage, Indio Falconer Downey, was arrested at the end of June on drug possession charges. Downey Jr. has also dealt with drug addiction, but has been clean since 2001.

Robert divorced Deborah Falconer, Indio’s mom, in 2004 after more than a decade together.
