His new album, entitled 'Paula,' is a tribute to his former wife.

Blurred Lines singer Robin Thicke has been on a very public crusade to win back his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton, after accusations of infidelity split the couple earlier this year.

In an interview with New York radio station Hot 97, Thicke explained that he hasn’t seen her for four months. This revelation came in response to the #AskThicke Twitter Q&A event that was mostly negative to the singer from tweeting fans. The online chat was done to help promote Thicke’s new album, entitled Paula, as a tribute to his former wife in an obvious bid to win her back.

It’s not the first attempt he’s made either, telling audiences on numerous concert tour dates how much he misses her and that he hopes to eventually win back her love. He discussed the break-up on Hot 97, telling listeners that, despite all the rumors, his infidelity was not the reason the marriage ended.

“We’re apart because we just couldn’t be together anymore for a while”, explained Thicke. “There’s a hundred different reasons, there isn’t just one. There’s a long list…I changed, and I got a little too selfish, a little too greedy and little too full of myself.”

When asked if Patton has heard the album that he has dedicated to her, he conceded that she had not listened to it yet. “She’s only heard a few songs. I don’t think she wants to hear it right now. I can’t speak for her, but I think space is an important part of any healing process.”

The first single from the album, Get Her Back is a direct plea for reconciliation and Thicke went on to describe how the new record was written and recorded. “The album is exactly what happens when you lose the love of your life and you’re trying to figure it out in your head. How am I going to move on and get through it all?”
