Internet speculation about Jay Z's rumored infidelity continues after Beyoncé changes lyrics during Cincinnati show.
After noticing that Beyoncé changed the lyrics to her 2006 single “Resentment” during her June 28 concert in Cincinnati, Ohio, rumors have been swirling that something is wrong between her and her husband Jay Z.
While wearing a wedding gown and veil, Queen Bey switched the line “Been ridin’ with you for six years” to “Been ridin’ with you for 12 years.” Fans are noting that this may be a reference to her relationship with Jay Z, as their relationship began 12 years ago in 2002. Beyoncé also added “She ain’t even half of me. That bitch will never be,” to the song, expanding on the lyric “I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she’s had half of me.”
There has been speculation about Jay Z cheating ever since footage of Beyoncé’s sister Solange fighting with her brother-in-law in an elevator surfaced in May. However, the couple has seemingly remained a united front during their On the Run summer tour and have spent nearly every day together since the joint tour kicked off in Miami on June 25. On that date, the power couple shared footage of their 2008 nuptials. Beyoncé later posted a happy snapshot of the two backstage after a performance drinking champagne on June 29.
