Latest trends suggest iPhone 6 is coming soon

With the iPhone 6 on its way, certain trends in the tech industry seem to be heralding its arrival, such as a drop in price of the upcoming devices predecessors.

There are a number of trends indicating that a new product is going to be released soon. One of the most telling of these trends is a drop in the price of the products predecessor. It seems as though Walmart has outed Apple with the announcement of a drop in price of both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C this week.

The new prices of the devices are $99 for the iPhone 5S with a two year contract, and $29 for the iPhone 5C with the same contract. This is good news for those wanting to pick up the phone at a cheap price, and who do not mind that it will likely be replaced with a new model in the near future.

It makes sense that a price drop of the iPhone 5S and 5C would indicate the arrival of the iPhone 6. Last year the exact same thing happened when the price of the iPhone 5 was drastically dropped right before the iPhone 5S and 5C were released.

For those really looking for a bargain, Costco has cut the price down even more, with the iPhone 5S being sold for only $77.99. Best Buy is also offering trade-in rates for those interested in the outgoing devices.

Information about the iPhone 6 has been kept under pretty tight wraps, but some things have been leaked ahead of its release. It is expected that two sizes will be released, the first sporting a 4.7-inch display, followed by one with a 5.5-inch display that may be curved, similar to some recent Samsung and LG devices.

The resolution of the devices will likely be 960 x 1704, and it should include a 64 bit A8 processor with 2GB of RAM.
