Jay Z and Beyonce's relationship on tour is strained but the show must go on.
Power couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z are said to be living “separate lives” as they tour the country as part of their joint “On the Run” concert series.
Reportedly, the married couple is traveling separately, even going as far to stay in different hotel rooms from one another. In spite of fan support for the couple, they seem to be staying as far away as possible from each other as rumors of infidelity surface about the couples’ other interests.
Various reports have placed Jay Z cheating on his wife, Beyonce Knowles, with a host of other famous celebrities. Most recently, reports have surfaced about Jay Z’s relationship with R&B singer Mya. However, other reports were previously been published claiming he had relationships with Casey Cohen, star of the Bravo network television show Princesses: Long Island, singer Rita Ora, and Rihanna.
Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z’s family issues have been in the news often this year. Much of the speculation seems to have started back in May, when footage of a fight between Jay Z and Beyonce’s sister, Solange, was captured inside a hotel elevator and leaked to the public.
The video was shot after Jay Z, Beyonce, and Solange left a Met Gala after party that took place at the Standard Hotel in New York City. In the footage, Solange seems to start attacking Jay Z without warning. She wildly kicks and hits him from inside of the elevator, even going as far to spill the contents of her purse onto the elevator floor.
Although someone, possibly a bodyguard, seems to be holding Solange back, Solange still manages to hit and kick Jay Z. Someone hit the elevator emergency stop button to keep the fight from public view, without realizing that the whole fight was being recorded anyway.
Speculation at the time suggested that Solange was angered by her brother-in-law’s infidelity and that a conversation with fashion designer Rachel Roy is what set her off.
Regardless– it would seem that whether or not the couple’s relationship is strained, the show must go on.
