Fatherhood: Mark Wahlberg opens up on being a Dad in the industry

Mark Wahlberg, star of new Transformers movie, talks fatherhood and fame.

Mark Wahlberg discusses how difficult it is to be a father in the entertainment industry.

In an interview with People magazine, Wahlberg discusses how having four children with wife Rhea Durham was how they “always pictured things.”

Their four children are Ella Rae, age 10, Michael Robert, age 8, Brendan Joseph, age 5, and Grace Margaret, age 4. It is usually difficult to raise a large household of kids, but the situation becomes increasingly difficult when your father is a star who spends time on location for new movies.

His latest role is in the new Transformers movie. Transformers: Age of Extinction is the supposed first installment of a new Transformers trilogy and features an entirely new cast of “human” characters.

This Transformers sequel is hardly the only project Mark Wahlberg is involved with this year. Earlier this year Mark Wahlberg further demonstrated his family ties when he and his brother Donnie invested in their brother Paul’s restaurant called “Wahlburgers.”

The restaurant is featured on a reality television show about family and the restaurant business called “Walburgers.” It is broadcast on the A&E television network.

The television show isn’t the first venture that the brothers have had together. The family runs another restaurant called “Alma Nove,” located in Hingham, Massachusetts.

Mark Wahlberg came to fame initially with his brother Donnie Wahlberg as a singer in the successful boy band called “New Kids on the Block.” Although his tenure with the group was short lived, it launched Mark Wahlberg out of a crime-filled youth into a successful entertainment career.
