Tori Spelling recently appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America with friend and fellow “90210″ star Jennie Garth to promote her new ABC Family show Mystery Girls.

Tori, who revealed her marital troubles to the world on the Lifetime show True Tori, was asked about the current status of her relationship with husband Dean McDermott. “Things are getting better,” she said. “Life is always a work in progress and our relationship is one as well, but we’re moving in the right direction.”

Spelling and McDermott have a lot of relationship repairing to do. Earlier this year, Dean responded to reports of an affair in December 2013.

“I didn’t think that I would get caught,” Dean said on True Tori. “I was drinking and using drugs, man.”

When asked about the criticism surrounding her decision to share her martial struggles with the show’s audience, Tori was quick to answer.

“Some people approved of it and some people didn’t. It was my personal journey, and I have no regrets,” she said.
