Demi Lovato talks potential collaboration with Lance Bass

After a successful collaboration with Ed Sheeran, Demi Lovato makes plans to record with the former 'N Sync singer.

Demi Lovato proved she’s an amazing artist to collaborate with last week at the Hollywood Bowl, when she performed an amazing impromptu duet of “Give Me Love” with Ed Sheeran. The duo only practiced the duet one time before performing it on stage in front of thousands, and the overwhelmingly positive fan reaction proved that the collaboration was a definite success.

“When we were rehearsing the song he was like ‘I’ll take the first verse, you take the second verse,’ and I was like ‘OK.’ So I listened to him sing the first verse and the first chorus and then it was my turn to sing and we were rehearsing in my dressing room,” Lovato told MTV News. “And I completely forgot all the words. I was like, ‘I’m sorry, I’m really nervous.”

She and Sheeran plan on releasing a new, highly-anticipated collaboration as soon as they both can find the time.

“We’ve talked about it for sure… we discussed meeting up in London or wherever we are in the same place to write together, which has yet to happen.”

That collaboration with Sheeran may not be the only one on Lovato’s agenda; the “Heart Attack” singer might soon be getting into the recording studio with ‘N Sync’s Lance Bass. Lovato ran into the former boy band singer on Monday while attending Logo TV’s Trailblazers, and later tweeted out a picture of the two of them with the caption “I’m soooo happy I got to catch up with the adorable and super sweet @lancebass!!”

Bass then created mass hysteria amongst fans of both singers when he responded with, “sooo good to see you! You are so lovely! This duet is happening!! Xoxoxoxo.”

“We were listening to A Great Big World sing ‘Say Something’ and he was like ‘I want to perform this with someone so bad’ and I go ‘Let’s do it,’” Lovato explained to MTV when they asked about the potential collaboration. “I totally invited myself, he was like ‘Oh, ok.’ I was like, ‘Sorry, we’re doing it.”
