Citing the UK newspaper The Sun, the Belfast Telegraph reveals that Hollywood actor Tom Cruise may have a cameo in the new Star Wars movie. The action star reportedly met with Star Wars director J.J. Abrams over the weekend to chat about a possible cameo in the film.

“Tom has been in London for over a week and met up with J.J. and some other people from Star Wars at the weekend,” a source told The Sun, according to the Belfast Telegraph.

“On Saturday evening five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel,” the source added. “J.J. produced Mission: Impossible 5 and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance.”

Work on Star Wars: Episode VII was temporarily suspended when actor Harrison Ford, who will reprise his role as Han Solo in the new film, was hurt on set. The veteran actor’s injury was recently confirmed to be a broken leg, not an ankle injury as was previously reported.
