Apparently the song, Love don’t cost a thing is not true for Jennifer Lopez. She and Casper Smart are no longer a couple, but that has not stopped the drama from their relationship. The 27-year-old dancer/choreographer is apparently suing the pop diva for $30,000 a month in alimony. During their two-an-a-half year relationship, Smart became accustomed to the lavish lifestyle he had with Lopez. So much so, that he has hired a big celebrity lawyer to file the claim.

Smart is a former back-up dancer for Lopez. The two started dating in October 2011 and lasted until 2014. Lopez, 44, has always had a well-publicized personal life, and their 18 year age difference was fodder for the tabloids. She has a history of dating dancers. Since their split, Lopez has moved on from Smart, but spoke fondly of him. Recently she addressed questions about the relationship, stating the two were good friends and that she cares about him. She treated him well, showering him with gifts, which he got to keep. That includes a truck for his 25th birthday.

However, Smart still feels entitled to the lifestyle he once lead with the star. Sources said Lopez is angry over this matter and is looking to settle the claim privately. He is also still living at her mansion. Lopez recently performed with rapper Pit Bull and singer Claudia Leitte during the opening ceremony at the World Cup in Brazil. She is currently on a promotional tour for her new album, ‘A.K.A’. Smart has agreed to move out before she returns.

There were also rumors of Smart cheating on Lopez with transsexual models, which he has vehemently denied. With this claim for large sums in alimony, and the fact that he still lives in her house,  it looks like gossip and scandal is not over for these two.
