Kanye West has some words for the world: The famous rapper said that the “world as a whole [was] f—cking ugly,” at the 2014 Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity event.

He even went as far as calling the Internet ugly, too.

Evidently, Kanye West and some of his fellow rapper friends believe that they are product and software designers. Kanye West reportedly asked Instagram’s co-founder Kevin Systrom for the opportunity to work on improving the popular social media app.

Kanye West points out that people in industrialized society spend so much time looking at their phones that he, and the makers of phone apps everywhere, should “clean that up.”

He also disclosed how he wasted three days of his honeymoon with Kim Kardashian retouching photos of their wedding, including the iconic photograph of the couple kissing in front of a wall of flowers. The photo of the couple ended up becoming one of Instagram’s most-liked posts of all time.

Arguably, their honeymoon time might have been better spent enjoying each other’s company, swimming at the beach, enjoying lazy brunch mornings, and exploring together. The “accomplishment” of creating and posting one of the most-liked photos does not make Kanye West an expert on social media design.

Instagram’s co-founder, Kevin Systrom, has not yet publicly commented about Kanye West’s desire to help redesign the app.
