It would seem like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to somehow put their infant child on an airplane without them, wouldn’t it? Though that’s technically what happened, there’s no cause for alarm (other than the fact that Kim and Kanye have reproduced): Baby North flew first class from New York to Los Angeles with a full brigade of nannies, handlers and security, reports TMZ.

The split was apparently an issue of logistics. Father Kanye West was in France and then flew directly to Miami. Mother Kim apparently accompanied North to New York, but a quick trip to France necessitated the two flying back to Los Angeles separately.

After being driven to New York’s JFK airport in Kanye’s Maserati (undoubtedly the most practical form of baby transportation), she was picked up from the tarmac at LAX in a chauffeured Porsche Panamera.

“I am a strict mother,” Kim said in an interview with the Daily Mail. “But … I’m not crazy strict.”

Apparently not, when it comes to travel accommodations.
