Anna Paquin poses naked in a coffin for True Blood

Anna Paquin has bared all again for her work. The starring actress on HBO’s True Blood is featured on this week’s cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine, posing naked while cuddling with a fully clothed co-star, her husband Stephen Moyer, in a wooden coffin. The series is known for an open mind towards nudity and graphic love scenes and Paquin has posed nude for the show before, joining a naked and fake-blood-covered Moyer and costar Alexander Skarsgard on a Rolling Stone cover to promote season two in 2010.

The couple met on the set of True Blood, married in 2010, and welcomed twins Poppy and Charlie in 2012. In the upcoming season, Moyers directed Paquin in a love scene with another costar, Joe Mangianello. He tells EW, “In a funny way, I feel like—without revealing too much—it’s quite interesting for us as a couple because we’ve kind of gone to places where a lot of people don’t get to. And we’re still here. And I think that’s good for us in a way.”

True Blood will begin its seventh and final season on June 22, and Paquin tells EW that while she will mourn the show itself, she has plenty to take away from it, including her husband. “It’s been extraordinary to have that experience that is completely life-changing in all of the best possible ways—and with the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. We will always have this.”
