The honeymoon glow must have worn off. Kanye West has admitted he is angry at celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz for refusing to take the wedding photos at his recent wedding to Kim Kardashian. As reported by the Daily Mail, West was speaking at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Monday when he revealed the behind-the-scenes drama.

West revealed that Leibovitz pulled out one day before the wedding, which took place last month in Florence, Italy. “I think that she was, like, scared of the idea of celebrity,” he said. A yet-unnamed photographer filled in; Kardashian later posted a photo to Instragram that showed herself kissing West in front of wall of flowers. The photo has become the most popular pic ever on Instragram, with over 2 million likes.

The seemingly simple photo was apparently a challenge to complete: West revealed it took 4 days to perfect. “This was pissing my girl off during the honeymoon, she was exhausted because we worked on the photo so much,” he said. “The flowers were off-color and stuff like that…It was a long time.”

Hopefully the popularity of the photo makes up for the effort put into it. West for one seems to think it was worth it, explaining “the fact the number one most-liked photo has a kind of aesthetic was a win for what the mission is, which is raising the palette.”

Leibovitz has not commented publicly on the situation.
