Friends and family members of the comedian Tracy Morgan are helping Morgan recover from his recent serious car crash.

Last week Tracy Morgan was in a serious car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike that killed one person and critically injured three others. A Wal-mart tractor trailer, driven by Kevin Roper, rear-ended Morgan’s limo after Morgan and his team left a comedy show in Delaware.

Tracy Morgan is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. On Saturday Night Live he was known for his celebrity impressions of characters like Aretha Franklin, Maya Angelou, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Morgan hasn’t had to look far for support in the wake of his accident.  In addition to an outpouring of support from fans, Morgan’s fiancé, model Megan Wollover, has remained by the comedian’s side. She has been giving Morgan the “good wishes” that Morgan’s fans, friends, and family have been sending him.

Additionally, comedian Louis C.K. and infamous director Judd Apatow have turned to social media, mainly Twitter, to ask the celebrity gossip site, TMZ, to take down its footage of the crash scene. Comic Ardie Fuqua was one of the comedians injured in the crash. His daughter, Krizya Fuqua is also requesting that the same video of her father being dragged out of the accident be removed. Celebrities are supporting Krizya Fuqua’s fight to preserve her father’s dignity and take down the video. They are encouraging fans of the comedian’s to not watch the TMZ video and also request that the video be removed from the TMZ site.

At this point, their request has gone unanswered.

Nonetheless, there’s little doubt that Morgan’s recovery is being backed by the support and well wishes of his fans, friends and family.
