Fans may be getting a bit more insight into Bruce and Kris Jenner’s relationship. The couple’s October split , which has been chronicled on their reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians, has appeared amicable. The separate pair has been seen in public frequently and both made the trip together to Paris to celebrate Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kanye West, with US Magazine reporting Bruce walking his stepdaughter down the aisle for the second time.

However, the relationship may not be as friendly as previously thought. In scenes released from the next episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians, the senior Jenners are seen locking heads. In one clip, Bruce tells Kris as she wipes tears from her eyes, “You can be very controlling. I don’t need that in my life.”

All members of the family have so far presented a united front, maintaining that the separation had been a very positive change. Daughter Khloe Kardashian said in an interview, reported in November, that post-split, “they’re nicer now…there’s no animosity.” As ABC News reported, Kris even posted an anniversary wish to Bruce in April on Instagram, writing “I love you, Wow 23 years!”
