According to a report from People magazine, rapper Lil’ Kim gave birth to a baby girl on Monday. Royal Reign weighed in at 6 lbs., 5 oz., and measured 191/2 inches long.

People notes that Lil’ Kim dropped a major hint about her daughter’s name while tweeting about her baby shower in May. “Can’t wait for my NYC Royal Baby Shower,” the rapper wrote via Twitter on May 8.

The baby shower announcement, which Lil’ Kim posted to Instagram, also contained a major hint, as a diamond-encrusted crown was featured prominently on the invitation.

RadarOnline.com reported in February that rapper Mr. Papers is the father of Lil’ Kim’s child. “Yeah, we’re having a baby,” Mr. Papers told the website. “I’m ready for daddy duty.”

Pleased by the attention, Lil’ Kim appears to have spent the last 12 hours re-tweeting various media stories covering the birth of her baby daughter.
