Actress Halle Berry to pay ex Gabriel Aubry $16000 a month for child support

The "X-Men: Days of Future Past" stunner is ordered to pay her former beau $16,000 a month to care for their young daughter.

A judge has ordered Oscar-winner Halle Berry to pay her child’s father, Gabriel Aubry, $16,000 a month in child support, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Berry, 47, and her ex-boyfriend, Aubry, 38, reached an agreement that was approved by a Los Angeles Superior Court judge on May 30. Details of the arrangement first surfaced on Monday.

In addition to paying Aubry $16,000 a month to support their 6-year-old daughter, Nahla, Berry is ordered to pay $115,000 in retroactive child support. She is also responsible for Aubry’s attorney fees which total $300,000.

The former couple is jointly responsible for their daughter’s health care expenses, while Berry is responsible for paying Nahla’s tuition until she turns 19 or graduates high school. The payments will stop once either of these milestones is reached.

Berry first met the French-Canadian model on the set of a Versace photo shoot for an ad campaign in 2005. Nahla was born in 2008.

In 2010, the romance fizzled and a bitter custody battle over their young daughter ensued.

Berry has since married French actor Olivier Martinez. She and Martinez have one child: a son, Maceo, born in October 2013. She was previously married to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, and Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005.

The Flinstones actress had hoped to relocate to her husband’s native country, with her daughter, but a court blocked the move at Aubry’s request in 2012.

Despite whatever personal turmoil Berry may be feeling over Aubry’s child support agreement, her professional life continues to soar. X-Men: Days of Future Past, in which Berry portrays Storm, has grossed more than $600 million at the box office worldwide.
