The late designer's sister blames Jagger's philandering ways for Scott's depression.
Fewer than three months following the death of his longtime girlfriend, L’Wren Scott, rocker Mick Jagger has bounced back with a fling with a young brunette woman, reports the Daily Mail.
This news comes as a shock to Scott’s sister, Jan Shane, who spoke to the Mirror from her home in Utah.
“These pictures make me really wonder what Mick is really thinking and feeling,” said Shane. “His daughter says that he is still heartbroken and so devastated about losing my sister — and then you see these photos.”
Jagger, 70, was snapped by paparazzo enjoying the company of the younger woman while on the balcony of his hotel in Zurich, Switzerland. In the photos she is seen kissing the back of his head.
The Rolling Stones’ frontman reportedly met the woman at a local nightclub, where she works, while the band was in town for a gig.
Jagger’s girlfriend of 13 years hanged herself in her New York City apartment on March 17. Scott was a fashion designer, whose label dressed the likes of Angelina Jolie and First Lady Michelle Obama.
“He will never change,” added Shane, who has been estranged from her sister for six years and did not attend her funeral. “And people wonder why L’Wren was so depressed?”
Jagger and the Stones are currently traveling the world in support of their 14 on Fire tour. The band was touring Australia when they learned of Scott’s death.
At the time, the legendary crooner commented that he could not “understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.”
The immediately put their tour plans on hold following the news of Scott’s suicide.
They have since resumed their 14 on Fire tour.
The Rolling Stones play Berlin on June 10.
