According to a report from E! Online, actress/singer Jennifer Lopez, who recently performed her first-ever concert in the Bronx, sought advice from ex-husband Marc Anthony before breaking up with boyfriend Casper Smart.

“One person she got advice from is her ex Marc…He’s been supportive and great through this all,” a source told E! Online. Lopez and Anthony ended their eight-year marriage in 2012. They have two children, twins Max and Emme.

“She will definitely still keep things civil and actually still loves him. The hard part is the kids love him too. He has become a part of her family,” the source said about J.Lo’s split from Smart.

According to the New York Daily News, Lopez and Smart actually made the decision to breakup several months ago. Although Casper was rumored to have been in an online relationship with a transsexual, TMZ reported that the couple’s split was not related to the tabloid stories.
