Tesla head Elon Musk: 'It is quite difficult to be CEO at two companies'

Musk says he plans on staying on as CEO at Tesla for "four or five years."

PayPal co-founder Elon Musk’s Q rating has soared through the roof over the last several years with the successes of both Tesla and SpaceX in their respective fields.

While the South African-born Canadian-American business magnate makes it look easy, the 42 year old said Tuesday that “it is quite difficult to be CEO at two companies.”

As quoted by The Wall Street Journal, Musk told shareholders at Tesla’s annual meeting that he will “stay four or five years [at the company], then it’s TBD after that.”

USA Today reports that Musk is “committed” to overseeing volume production of the third-generation car at Tesla, which will come on the heels of the company’s Model S sedan and the Model X crossover.

What do you think? Has Musk’s vision been good for both Tesla and SpaceX? Should he continue to try to lead both as they make new inroads in the world of electric cars and space exploration?
