Do you agree with Paltrow?
First, we were left trying to guess what Gwyneth Paltrow meant when she announced a “conscious uncoupling” from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Now, the actress says she believes water has feelings.
“I have long had [Dr. Masuru Emoto’s] coffee table book on how negativity changes the structure of water,” Paltrow wrote on her website Goop. “How the molecules behave differently depending on the words or music being expressed around it.”
“I am fascinated by the growing science behind the energy of consciousness and its effects on matter,” the actress added.
According to Us Magazine, one of Dr. Emoto’s most famous experiments involved screaming at rice grains to see the impact that the negativity had.
Paltrow took some heat over the weekend after a Green Beret responded to her comments comparing Internet criticism to war. “I can only imagine the difficulty of waking up in a 12,000 square foot Hollywood home and having your assistant retrieve your iPhone, only to see that the battery is low,” Sergeant First Class Bryan Sikes wrote in an open letter posted on ClashDaily.com.
