Country star Miranda Lambert’s plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia, on Tuesday evening.
“Our plane had an emergency landing in Clarksburg WV. But don’t worry, we found platinum fire suits. Yes!#platinum,” Lambert confirmed via Instagram.
According to WSMV.com, the recording artist was on her way to Nashville after a whirlwind promotional tour for her Platinum album in the Big Apple.
Citing Flightaware, WSMV.com says that Lambert’s plane was diverted for an unknown reason to North Central West Virginia Airport shortly after leaving Teterboro, New Jersey.
Also citing Flightaware, The Tennessean reports that Miranda’s plane eventually took off again and made it to Smyrna Airport at approximately 7 pm Central time.
