Rapper Ray J is in some deep trouble.

The R&B singer was arrested last night following a spat with police at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Ray J reportedly was questioned for making contact with a woman’s butt. Police investigated and later determined that the “butt-grabbing” was incidental. Following an interview with police, Ray J was arrested after saying he would refuse to leave the property.

According to police, Ray J then spat in a police officer’s face, and he is now facing a string of charges. In addition, the singer allegedly kicked out the window of the police vehicle and was subsequently charged with trespassing, vandalism, resisting arrest and battery for spitting on one of the officers.

TMZ has video of Ray J. literally skipping out of the police station after being released. He comments a simple, “I ain’t trippin’,” when questioned about the incident.

The incident comes as Ray J, earlier this month, made headlines after announcing he would send nearly $50,000 to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as a weddin gift. The catch? The money is part of the profit generated by the infamous Kardashian sex tape.

His bail was set at $20,000.
