Pop princess Lady GaGa is forced to cancel two concerts on her new tour due to illness.
Pop star Lady GaGa has postponed her upcoming concert in Vancouver, British Columbia due to a case of bronchitis.
Concert promoter Live Nation Entertainment officially released a statement saying the 28-year-old singer will be canceling her concert on Wednesday, May 28 at Seattle’s Key Arena as well as her concert at Rogers Arena in Vancouver Friday, May 30, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
GaGa spoke out about her latest illness on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.
“I’m devastated I’m unable to perform this week. Ursula took my mermaid voice I’ve come down with horrible Bronchitis,” said GaGa.
The nine-time Grammy-winning singer also gave out apologies to her loyal fans as well.
“My deepest apologies to Seattle and Vancouver, we’ll reschedule those shows & be back to make it up to you. I <3 monsters. #sadgaga,” said GaGa.
Fans were instructed to retain their tickets for the rescheduled dates in Seattle and Vancouver. The rescheduled dates will be announced soon.
GaGa has gone on record about her dedication to her fans and their satisfaction in her live shows.
“I don’t think it’s cool to lip sync. I’m not judging if people do because it’s everybody’s own style of what they decided to be, the type of artist they will be, but I think if you pay money for a ticket to see a show the artist should F***king have some pipes and sing their records for you,” said GaGa to Extra.
The songstress will return to the stage on June 2 in San Diego, CA and is expected to fulfill the rest of the dates scheduled on her tour.
The pop star started off her artRave: The ARTPOP Ball Tour earlier this month in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The tour is currently on the North American section in support of GaGa’s latest album, ARTPOP.
