The popular beauty is all that and a bag of chips
Hold on to your pleather hats and feathered pens, Clueless’ quintessential 90s popular girl is headed to Fox News to inform you on the latest trends.
The actress, 47, according to TV Guide will offer cultural analysis and commentary on various daytime and primetime programs. Whoever said the 90s were passé?! Not today’s youth culture, that’s for sure.
As with most fashion cycles, the 90s have come back in a big way; and those of us who were around to see it the first time as teenagers in high school or twenty-something’s in the prime of our adulthood, will cherish the idea of Dionne gracing their television screens.
This isn’t the first time Dash has returned to the small screen. Since her eventual departure from the TV version of Clueless, Stacey has been appearing on shows like The Game, Single Ladies and most recently, The Exes.
When it comes to offering off-the-cuff commentary, Stacey is no stranger to offering well thought out, deliberate view points in the arenas of politics and social change. In the 2012 Presidential election, Stacey vocally endorsed Mitt Romney as her choice for President, via her Twitter feed.
According to Bill Shine, the Fox network’s executive vice president of programming, “Stacey is an engaging conversationalist whose distinctive viewpoints amongst her Hollywood peers have spawned national debates – we’re pleased to have her join Fox News.”
The announcement that Stacey would be joining Fox came on Wednesday, May 28.
Viewers will be happy to know that her fashion ensembles will be carefully selected to suit her original voice and style; but of course, she’ll have to take pictures first, because who can trust mirrors?!
Fox News is excited to have her join their team. She recently appeared on FOX News show Outnumbered as a guest panelist.
