After a Sunday morning altercation between boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. and rapper T.I. turned into an all-out brawl, T.I. felt he needed to defend himself against rumors that Mayweather messed up his face.

Speaking with NecoleBITCHIE on Sunday, Mayweather suggested that T.I. took the brunt of the punches during the melee: “As far as him swinging on me, I ain’t having that. You see me. I’m out all night. He didn’t make an appearance so let’s see how his face look.”

Wanting to protect his reputation, T.I. took to social media to reveal the truth.

“What they say I got two black eyes? Where they at, though?” T.I. said in a video posted to Instagram.

T.I. and Mayweather reportedly fought over Instagram photos. One photo in question featured the rapper’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle,” posing with the boxer on May 5. Mayweather has said, however, that nothing is going on between him and Tiny.
