Floyd Mayweather Jr. apologizes to T.I.'s wife 'Tiny' after Fatburger brawl

Mayweather apologized for insulting Tiny while fighting her husband, rapper T.I., in Las Vegas on Sunday morning.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has officially apologized to Tameka“Tiny” Cottle for insulting her during a fight with her husband, T.I. Mayweather acknowledged he regretted telling T.I. to “control your b—ch” during the brawl. “I don’t want to say that to Tiny,” Mayweather told NecoleBITCHIE. “So I do apologize to Tiny, she cool people.”

Mayweather did not apologize to the man he fought with on Sunday morning, rapper T.I. (real name Clifford Harris). The two men had had an escalating tension, initiated by T.I.’s concerns over Mayweather’s relationship with his wife.

Tiny posted an Instagram photo of herself with Mayweather on May 5, and attended a party he threw over Memorial Day weekend. T.I. tracked down Mayweather at Fatburger on the Las Vegas strip early Sunday morning after the party, and a verbal confrontation escalated to a physical altercation.

In his interview with NecoleBITCHIE, posted on youtube, Mayweather denied ever having any inappropriate contact with Tiny. “I’ve never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her,” he said.

He said T.I. had approached him about the photo earlier while they were in New York but no fight had occurred at that time.
