A select few of the remaining men get to go on a date with the lovely bachelorette.
Andi Dorfman’s second week on ABC’s The Bachelorette got off to an exciting start with plenty of dates and even stripping. It will be up to the 27-year-old Dorfman to decide which man of the 19 men left she will choose to be her “one.”
The 31-year-old explorer Eric Hill was the first up.
“I hope that I can just be myself. Who knows? This could actually be the key to my fairy tale,” said Hill.
Dorfman picked up Hill for a date at the beach. Their activities consisted of building sand castles and flying a kite before a helicopter arrived right on the beach to take them to their next destination at Bear Mountain. The couple later got some hot chocolate and much needed quiet time together before their tobogganing experience. Dorfman finally offered to the rose to Hill who gratefully accepted.
Hill has since passed away since his time filming on The Bachelorette.
The next day was filled with stripping as Dorfman went on a group date with a select few of the remaining men.
Male exotic dancers at OHM Night Club taught a routine for the men of the show to perform for charity. They finally took the stage at the end of the night dressed as cowboys, firefighters, military men, a robot, and a pilot to entertain a rowdy crowd of women. Among the crowd of women were Sharleen and Kelly from last season of The Bachelor.
The guys and Dorfman later hit up the drinks and food back at the mansion. The 29-year-old Craig Muhlbauer was the stand-out in the wrong way though. He eventually jumped into the pool fully clothed after having too much to drink.
The producers stepped in and took Muhlbauer back home. The 25-year-old Marcus Grodd calmed down Dorfman as the situation was being handled. Grodd received the rose that night.
Chris Soules, the 32-year-old farmer, got the second date. It was a day at the horse races with betting, mint juleps, and fun conversation. The two shared dinner and received a lovely private concert from the band This Wild Life.
“I’m already a winner,” said Soules, “because I’m here with the most amazing woman on the planet.”
The Cocktail Party came after with all the guys and Dorfman meeting up one last time. Muhlbauer got the guitar and sang a song to the bachelorette as an apology for his drunk antics.
Dorfman gave out the roses to all the men except three: Carl King from Flordia, Nick Sutter from Chicago, and of course Muhlbauer from Iowa. The three of them went home without a bachelorette.
The rest of the guys who received a rose moved on to the next round of dates and are one step closer to finding love.
The next episode of The Bachelorette airs Sunday on ABC followed another new episode on Monday.
