Seth Rogen also doesn't think Macklemore is a very good rapper.
Rapper Macklemore, known for hits like “Same Love” and “Thrift Shop,” has found himself in some hot water after pictures surfaced online of the Seattle-based rapper wearing a Jewish stereotype costume during a recent concert.
It didn’t take long for Twitter to explode with people criticizing Macklemore for his costume choice. One of Macklemore’s biggest, and perhaps most famous, critics was Seth Rogen, who also took a shot at the singer’s rapping abilities.
“First you trick people into thinking you’re a rapper, now you trick them into thinking you’re Jewish?” Rogen tweeted.
Macklemore defended himself on Twitter. “A fake witches nose, wig, and beard = random costume,” the rapper tweeted. “Not my idea of a stereotype of anybody.”
But that explanation didn’t satisfy Rogen, who fired back on Twitter.
“Really?? Because if I told someone to put together an anti Semitic Jew costume, they’d have that exact shopping list,” the comedian tweeted.

Does Macklemore deserve this backlash? Did Macklemore purposefully wear a Jewish stereotype costume or was it just a “random costume” as he claims? Start a conversation by sharing your thoughts in the comments section.
