Security footage obtained earlier this month by TMZ.com shows Solange Knowles hitting and kicking music mogul Jay-Z in an elevator, just minutes before a Met Gala after-party inside Chelsea’s Standard Hotel. The incident, caught on tape, shows Jay-Z’s wife, Beyonce, standing to the side and merely watching the bizarre fight. To calm down rumors of a rift between the two, Beyonce has taken to social media to show that everything is fine.  To further quell speculation, Beyonce also took to her Tumblr page this morning, posting photos of her, Solange, and Jay-Z.

The pictures reveal that this past Saturday, Queen Bey, Solange, Jay-Z, the Knowles sister’s mother Tina and Solange’s boyfriend Alan Ferguson enjoyed a nice family meal at courtyard restaurant Cafe Amelie in New Orleans. Based off of the images of Beyonce smiling and posing with her mother and sister to the picture of Solange smiling as she walked next to Jay Z on their way out of the restaurant, everything seems to have been resolved and the joint statement they gave the Associated Press after the elevator fight footage leaked seems to have been genuine.

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”

The new series of Tumblr pictures weren’t Beyonce’s first attempts to show fans that things within her family aren’t as troubled as the press has been making them out to be. Two days after the video leaked, Beyonce gave her sister public support by posting images of the two together eating lunch on her Instagram account. Sources say that the elevator trio also patched things out with a visit to the Ritz Carlton Hotel in New Orleans on Thursday and Friday.

Beyonce, Solange, and Jay-Z still have not spoken out about the cause of their elevator brawl, but sources have stated that the fight was the result of Solange partying too hard.

“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” countered the trio’s joint statement. “At the end of the day, families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”
