It turns out that singer Miley Cyrus still has some pent up frustrations about her failed relationship with actor Liam Hemsworth.

According to a report from the Mirror, Miley took a verbal swing at Liam during a performance at G-A-Y nightclub in London on Friday.

“I wrote this song after somebody broke my heart,” said Cyrus as she introduced her next song, Wrecking Ball, “and I just wanted to say ‘f*** you.'”

“I wanted to write a No 1 hit, something that would be on the radio,” she added. “I wanted to make sure every time he turned on his radio, he would hear my song and will keep hearing it for the rest of his life.”

Hemsworth and Cyrus split in 2013. They had started dating in 2009 after appearing together in The Last Song. Three years later they were engaged.

Post-breakup, Miley told Barbara Walters that she was “so scared of ever being alone” and that she doesn’t “ever want to have to need someone again.”
