Pacific Organic Produce, in San Francisco, CA, is voluntarily recalling a small number of mangoes over a possible health concern. Although no illnesses have been reported, the mangoes may be infected by the potentially deadly Listeria monocytogenes organism.
The mangoes in question were sold under the “Purity Organic” brand between Apr.14 and May 2 (PLU numbers 94051 & 94959). No other mangoes from the brand are being recalled.
