The duo wed in what was planned as a "sexy" and "masculine" ceremony.
Television personality and interior designer Nate Berkus exchanged vows with fiancé Jeremiah Brent in a private wedding ceremony in New York City Saturday, confirms E! Online.
Berkus, 42, wed Brent, 29, at the New York Public Library.
Berkus hosts American Dream Builders, a reality television show in which designers and architects compete to build the best home renovations. Brent is a former personal assistant to Rachel Zoe, a fashion stylist.
The pair announced their engagement in April 2013.
In March, Brent shared their engagement story with E!.
“We were on a buying trip for One Kings Lane in Peru,” said Brent. “We went on the top of Machu Picchu and we walked down into this valley temple place and he asked me to marry him.”
“I fell apart like full ugly-girl kind of cry,” added Brent.
In the same interview, Brent shared details of their wedding plans.
“It’s going to be a really sexy wedding ceremony, like really masculine but sexy feel,” said Brent. “Its been really great and been a really fun process for us to blend our aesthetics together and really create this whole moment.”
During the same interview, Brent noted that the guest list featured around 200 invitees.
“Without sounding cheesy like a Hallmark card, it’s the actual idea that I am getting married to the love of my life,” added Brent.
