Ben Affleck is 'welcome back any time,' casino says

Affleck's talent at playing black jack is no secret.

Actor Ben Affleck has been banned from playing black jack at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, according to multiple media reports.

However, the next batman hasn’t been banned from the rest of the casino. “Mr. Affleck, a valued guest of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is not banned from our property and is welcome back any time,” the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino said in a statement on Friday.

Why was Affleck kicked out of the casino on Tuesday? TMZ reports that he was caught counting cards. While counting cards isn’t illegal, casinos frown upon the gambling strategy.

After swarming Affleck’s table, “the security said, ‘We have to stop you because you’re too good,'” a source told PEOPLE.

Affleck’s talent at playing black jack is no secret. According to a New York Daily News report, Affleck hauled in $800,000 playing the card game at the same gambling establishment in 2001. Witnesses say that the actor then gave away $150,000 in tips to dealers and waitresses.
