Jessica Ciencin Henriquez filed for divorce from the Little Accidents star this month in New York, according to People.  The 28-year-old writer and the 42-year-old Sweet Home Alabama star had been married for 22 months, and Henriquez gave birth to their son, Noah Rev Maurer, in July 2012.  It is unclear why the two have decided to call it quits.

Some of Jessica’s posts on social media seemed to suggest that all was not right in the marriage.  “I once saw an astrologer.  He said that January/February would be the hardest months of my life.  He wasn’t wrong,” Henriquez wrote in a tweet.  “Whoever said ‘living well is the greatest revenge’ has clearly never lit someone’s bed on fire,” she posted another time on Twitter.

The couple met at a dog park in 2011.  Henriquez and Lucas announced their engagement in early 2012 after dating for just six weeks, and were wed later that year in March.  Jessica faced severe risks during her pregnancy with their son, Noah, as she had been previously battling stage one cervical cancer when she met Lucas.  “I just blurted out. ‘I’m sick,’ and he was the first person I told,” she said in an interview with the Huffington Post.  “It was terrifying to say it out loud because it gave it power and made it real, and it meant that I had cancer.”  According to the Huffington Post, Jessica had been advised by her doctors to have a hysterectomy in order to get rid of the cancer right when she unexpectedly got pregnant with her son.  She ultimately decided to forego the doctor’s suggestion and when through with her pregnancy.  “I think almost every oncologist would disagree with my decision or parts of my decisions, but I think that things happen in life that you have to pay attention to,” she told the Huffington Post.
