‘Mork and Mindy’ stars to reunite on Robin Williams’ new show

A new episode of "The Crazy Ones" will see a reunion between Robin Williams and Pam Dawber.

Actor Robin Williams, 62, and actress Pam Dawber, 62, are slated to share the small screen once more in Williams’ new CBS comedy “The Crazy Ones,” according to CNN.

From 1978 to 1982, Williams played the Mork to Dawber’s Mindy on “Mork & Mindy.” Williams played an oddball alien while Dawber played his human girlfriend.

CBS confirmed that the actress will appear in an upcoming episode of “The Crazy Ones.” Created by accomplished television producer David E. Kelly, the situation comedy follows the happenings of a Chicago advertising agency. Williams plays a zany advertising executive and Sarah Michelle Gellar plays his uptight daughter on the show. Dawber will play a writer who goes on a date with Williams’ character after he begins to doubt love.

It’s been nearly 15 years since Dawber was last credited with an acting role. In 2000, she stared in “I’ll Remember April” which went straight to video in the US.

Williams is excited to once again being acting opposite Dawber. On Jan. 23 he posted an old photo of the two posing together as Mork and Mindy, confirming her upcoming appearance on “The Crazy Ones.” He captioned the photo, “She’s baaaaack!”

In a Jan. 24 interview, Williams told CBSNews, “It will be a joy to work with her again. It’s a dream come true.”

“I’m so excited to be able to see and work with Robin again,” Dawber agreed. “I hear ‘The Crazy Ones’ set is a very happy one. I know it’ll be a great week!”

“The Crazy Ones” airs Thursdays on CBS at 9 p.m. EST. The date of show in which Dawber guest stars has yet to be released.
