Here's the story from A to Z
Victoria Beckham, formerly known as “Posh Spice” lives up to her Posh persona and declares that she will never again be performing alongside the rest of the beloved 90s girl group, The Spice Girls.
The beloved 90s pop band reunited to perform at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony, but that will be the last time that the pop band, according to Posh, I mean, Victoria Beckham, will ever perform together.
Us Weekly reports her take as she shared in Vanity Fair Italy and Spain: “I won’t ever do it again,” the woman formerly known as Posh Spice said in the issue (via the Daily Mail). “Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British. That was a perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more. Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party.”
Us Weekly goes on to write: “Beckham often speaks fondly of her Spice Girls days, but after the group — which also included Geri Halliwell, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, and Emma Bunton — officially disbanded in 2000, she quickly moved on.” In 1999, Victoria married international soccer star David Beckham in 1999 and together, the couple has four children — Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, 8, and Harper, 2.”
In 2008, after serving as the face of Marc Jacobs fashion line, Beckham created her own fashion label, which has been highly successful.
She ended in typical Posh Spice to-the-point fashion: “The Spice Girls were successful because we celebrated women. That’s why I do what I do today.”
The full interview with Victoria in Vanity Fair Italy and Spain will be available January 22 in Italy and January 21 in Spain.
