Jay Z, Beyonce to perform together live at 2014 Grammys

Reports suggest that power couple Jay Z and Beyonce will bring their musical collaboration to the Grammy Awards stage.

Rap star Jay Z and singer Beyonce are slated to perform together at the 2014 Grammy Awards, a source confirmed to US Weekly.

The announcement came Sunday, Jan. 19 in the form of a promotional commercial for the music awards show. Beyonce, 32, and Jay Z, 44, were listed among the evening’s performers.

The husband and wife duo, who have been married since 2008, have collaborated together previously. Jay Z guest raps on “Drunk in Love,” a lead single off Beyonce’s self-titled fifth album released on Dec. 13, 2013. It was the first time the pair had collaborated musically for a studio release in nearly a decade.

Other collaborations include “’03 Bonnie and Clyde,” a track from Jay Z’s seventh studio album, “The Blueprint 2: The Gift and The Curse,” released in 2002. Jay Z also appeared on “Crazy in Love” from Beyonce’s debut solo album, 2002’s “Dangerous in Love.”

The two have also collaborated romantically. Their daughter, Blue Ivy, was born Jan. 7, 2012.

Taylor Swift, Lorde, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Kendrick Lamar, Katy Perry, Paul McCartney and Daft Punk are also scheduled to perform at the Grammys. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Madonna will perform guest vocals for one of the night’s performers.

The Grammy Awards airs on Sunday, Jan. 26 on CBS.
