Robin Wright, of former Mrs. Sean Penn notoriety, is officially engaged to leading actor, Ben Foster.

The prominent actress of such classic films as “The Princess Bride” and “Forrest Gump” is also nominated for a Golden Globe tomorrow night for her role in the dramatic series, House of Cards. Perhaps there will be another reason to celebrate!

Her new man is on a winning streak. After a successful turn in the just-released “Lone Survivor”, Ben Foster also received news that he had landed the coveted role of Lance Armstrong in the biopic to be directed by acclaimed director Stephen Frears. He’s no stranger to success. From the time he started working as an actor at the age of 16, Foster has steadily proven his laudable acting chops and continues to do so in films like, “Lone Survivor” and “Kill Your Darlings” in which he played famed author, William S. Burroughs.

The couple officially started dating just over a year ago after meeting on the set of the movie “Rampart” in which they both had starring roles. Foster, 33, has never been married; for Wright, 47, this will be her third marriage. Her first marriage was to actor Dane Witherspoon, whom she met on the soap-opera Santa Barbara. The marriage only lasted two years and in 1989, Robin began dating her second husband, Sean Penn, after his divorce from Madonna.

After 13 years of marriage, the actress split from Sean Penn, who shared with Esquire magazine, “I don’t feel that I have ever been loved.” He went on to say, “When you get divorced, all the truths that come out, you sit there and you go, “What the f*** was I doing? What was I doing believing that this person was invested in this way?” Which is a fantastically strong humiliation in the best sense,” he says.

The couple shared a particularly volatile relationship, filing for divorce in the late 2000s only to reconcile and get back together and then shortly after, divorcing for the last time. The divorce was finalized on July 22, 2010.

It has been rumored that Sean Penn has been dating actress Charlize Theron, as pictures of the two frolicking on the beaches of Hawaii surfaced at the beginning of this year. As recent as last weekend, the newly formed couple was spotted at the Arclight in Hollywood, catching “The Wolf of Wall Street” in theaters, together. Sean Penn and Charlize Theron both won their first Oscars for Best Actor (“Mystic River”) and Best Actress (“Monster”) in the same year, 2003. Talk about a high point!

While there’s no telling yet, whether Robin Wright and Ben Foster will be sharing their first Oscars on the same year, they’ve got true love.

And who needs an award when you’ve already won the prize!
