Steven Seagal says he may run for Arizona governor

Seagal says America's biggest problem is "open borders."

Action hero Steven Seagal may run for Arizona governor, according to a report from The Associated Press.

Speaking to a KNXV TV reporter, Seagal said: “Joe Arpaio and I were talking about me running for governor in Arizona, which was kind of a joke, but I suppose I would remotely consider it, but probably I would have a lot more other responsibilities that may be more important to address.”

When asked what he thought was the number one problem that’s facing our country today, Seagal said:

“Believe it or not I think it’s open borders…People are talking about ‘oh Islamic terrorism in America,’ but I don’t think it’s that at all. I think are biggest problem is open borders. I think that across these borders any kind of terrorism can come and does come.”

According to Mirror.co.uk, Seagal is a martial arts expert with a 7th dan black belt in Aikido. He is also deputized with sheriff’s offices in New Mexico, Texas and Louisiana.

Seagal teamed up with Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio for his new reality TV series: “Steven Seagal – Lawman: Maricopa County.”
