An eBay auction selling a piece of original art by George Zimmerman has closed.

The piece, which depicts the American flag in shades of blue with the words “God, One Nation, and with Liberty and Justice for All,” sold for $100,099.99. The auction received 96 bids from Monday to Saturday.

Jayne Weintrub, Zimmerman’s attorney, affirmed that the piece is an original creation by Zimmerman, according to MSN News. A photo of Zimmerman with the artwork appears on the auction’s page.

“Unfairly,” Weintrub says, “[Zimmerman] has not been gainfully employed of late and he’s utilizing his talent to make some money.”

In July, Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder in the shooting death of unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin.

In November, Zimmerman made headlines again after a domestic violence altercation involving his girlfriend. In December, prosecutors decided to not press domestic violence charges against Zimmerman in regard to the incident, according to The Guardian.
