Over 150 billion games of King’s “Candy Crush Saga” have been played. To celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary, King has released a statement with some out-of-this-world data on the habits of Candy Crush’s fans worldwide.

King reports that games has been downloaded over 500 million times across Facebook and numerous mobile devices. Amazingly, one-year after Candy Crush’s launch, the addicting games is still one of the most popular games in the world. Who would’ve thought that crushing candy would be so entertaining!

“The past year has been one of the most exciting times for King since Candy Crush Saga launched on mobile,” remarked Tommy Palm, Games Guru at King, in a statement. “The incredible milestone of more than half a billion downloads of the game, as well as the continued enthusiasm from our community, really delights the entire King team. Fans can look forward to even more exciting new Candy Crush Saga content over the coming months, including an exciting new twist to the game.”

Not only have 150 billion individual games been played so far, but Candy Crush fans say that level 65 is the most notorious for being hard to beat. Did you know that 78 percent of U.S. fans reported that they like playing Candy Crush while watching television? Neither did we.

With all of those players, the makers of Candy Crush are probably cashing in, right? Yep. In August, AppAdvice.com said that King was earning $633,000 per day, pulling in somewhere in the ballpark of $230 million annually.
