Tori Spelling rips Katie Holmes in new memoir: ‘You can’t sing for sh*t’

An awkward encounter with Holmes changed Tori's opinion of Katie.

Radar Online reports that former Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling has some harsh words for ex-Tom Cruise wife and former Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes.

Dawson’s Creek Katie was exactly what you’d expect,” Spelling writes in Spelling It Like It Is about the first time she met Holmes, according to the website. “She was wearing jeans and a tank top. Her hair was down. She was shy but engaging, and altogether pretty adorable.”

An awkward encounter several years later after running into the actress at the end of Katie’s appointment with vocal coach Eric Vetro left Spelling with a completely different impression of the woman.

“She was just plastic. In a perfectly polite way […] My pits were drenched. I never sweat. It was that awkward. I thought, I know you’re not a robot because you can’t sing for sh*t […],” Spelling writes.

In other Spelling news, her husband Dean McDermott recently told Us Weekly that he and Tori have plenty of money, despite his wife being quoted saying that they didn’t have enough money for a vasectomy.

“Right now things are going well,” McDermott told Us Weekly. “I have several exciting projects in the works. Our show Dean and Tori’s Backyard Bash just re-aired to great ratings, I’ll be the new host of Chopped Canada and I have my first cookbook coming out — The Gourmet Dad, in the spring.”
