Sinead O’Connor to Miley Cyrus: I have no interest in meeting you

What do you think of Cyrus' recent behavior?

In her third letter to pop star Miley Cyrus, Sinead O’Connor took to Facebook to slam the former “Hannah Montana” star’s latest antics. This time her letter was far less cordial than her first in which she expressed concern for Cyrus, writing that she was allowing herself “to be pimped” by the music industry.

O’Connor’s first letter to Cyrus was a response to the singer’s confession that her “Wrecking Ball” video was inspired by the Irish songwriter’s “Nothing Compares” video.

Cyrus obviously took offense to O’Connor’s letter, tweeting: “before there was Amanda Bynes…There was (O’Connor).”

“Miley… Really? Who the fu** is advising you?” wrote O’Connor in her second letter to Cyrus. “[…] taking me on is even more fu***** stupid than behaving like a prostitute and calling it feminism.”

In response, Cyrus invited O’Connor to a meeting after completing her hosting duties on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

“I have no interest whatsoever in meeting you,” O’Connor wrote back. “You can take five minutes today between g- string fuckin’ changes to publicly apologize and remove your abusive tweets. If you do not then you don’t give a shit who you mock and what damage you do by being so ignorant.”

“When you publicly apologize to Amanda and myself and all mental health sufferers as well as all who were abused by priests that will end the matter as far as I am concerned,” O’Connor added.

Cyrus isn’t the only celebrity that O’Connor took aim this week. During an interview on the “Late Late Show” in Ireland on Friday, the musician slammed “X Factor” judge Simon Cowell for killing Rock ‘n’ Roll.

“It all amounts to the murder of music and that’s what concerns me,” O’Connor told host Ryan Tubridy.

Cyrus’ face has been in the news a lot lately following her x-rated performance with Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

What do you think of Cyrus’ recent behavior? What do you think of O’Connor’s open letters to Cyrus? Are Cyrus’ actions unique or is she just copying some of the famous musicians who came before her, like Madonna, Pink and Lady Gaga? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
