Lamar Odom has cut off his father financially, TMZ reports.

The gossip website learned from the basketball star’s father, Joe Odom, that his son spoke with him earlier this week and expressed his dissatisfaction with the interview that the elder Odom gave to RadarOnline.com.

After paying his father’s rent for four years, which TMZ says amounted to $2,900 per month, Lamar is reportedly no longer willing to shell out the big bucks.

“They brought him down,” Joe told RadarOnline.com about the Kardashian clan. “He would be better off without them. Let him go and get his life together. I think the best thing for him would be to have a clean break, divorce Khloe and as a single man try and get his life back together.”

Perhaps in an effort to rekindle his relationship with Khloe Kardashian, of “Keeping up with the Kardashians” fame, Lamar took to Twitter to lash out at his father following Joe’s interview.

“I have let this man and many others get away with a lot of sh–. He wasn’t there 2 raise me. He was absent ALL of my life due to his own demons,” Lamar tweeted.

Lamar is reported to be dealing with an addiction to crack-cocaine that has his marriage on the rocks.

According to the New York Daily News, Khloe spent her 4th wedding anniversary without Lamar. She even posted a picture of an engraved crystal that her friends gave to her.
